Waukesha Pewaukee businesses are open and here to welcome you, your family and friends, safely into our communities.

We continue to closely monitor recommendations from local, state and national health agencies regarding COVID-19, and encourage residents and visitors to do the same. Due to these recommendations, events have been canceled and business hours of operation have changed. We encourage you to inquire directly with businesses regarding their current operations. Safety precautions followed by lodging properties can be found within the Places to Stay section of our website.

Effective August 1, 2020, the state of Wisconsin issued an order that all residents and non-residents age five and older must wear a face covering indoors and in enclosed spaces where others are present. The order has been extended to be in effect until November 21, 2020 or until a superseding order takes its place. This frequently asked questions page may be helpful as you prepare for your visit.

To protect yourself and other visitors, please follow these important CDC guidelines:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after you have been in a public space touching surfaces frequently touched by others and before eating.
  • Maintain a 6-foot distance from others.
  • Wear a face covering in public.
  • Always cover coughs and sneezes.

We all play an important role in working to reduce the spread of the virus.
