Old World Wisconsin, the nation’s largest living history museum, enables visitors to see and experience the ways of 19th century rural Wisconsin life. Stroll through Crossroads Village and ethnic farm sites to see more than 50 restored structures.

The Clausing Barn Upper Loft seats up to 175 guests in a charming octagonal barn and the lower level Clausing Barn Restaurant seats up to 70 guests in a casual environment with access to a intimate patio setting. Both are available after the museum has closed for private events. Large groups can rent the Norwegian Picnic Pavilion, a sheltered pavilion seating up to 400 guests. Guests can tour the museum with or without curators providing customized discussions of the history of the site and its structures; obtaining and moving the historic structures; a collection of artifacts; vintage baseball; historic clothing and heirloom gardens. Trams are available to assist navigating through the museum in a shorter period of time. On-site lunch, dinner and picnic catering is available at all locations.
