Historic military aircrafts will fly again at the Waukesha County Airport Gathering of Warbirds Saturday, May 25 from 10am-4pm.
Sponsored by the Commemorative Air Force Wisconsin Wing, this event is ideal for anyone that enjoys airplanes and history. You will be able to see airplanes dating back to World War II and the Korean War. Additional activities include:
- Aircraft tours and rides (book your ride here). Rides include a Fairchild PT-26 a 1943 WWII airplane and a Miss Mitchell B-25 ride (rides on Miss Mitchell available on both May 24 and 25).
- Family-friendly educational activities for all ages
The cost to attend is $20 per vehicle (cash only). Entrance fee enters you to win a free ride in one of the aircrafts. NOTE: No pets, drones or smoking on the event grounds.
For aircraft rides, passengers must be at least 12 years old, weigh less than 250 pounds and be able to climb onto a wing and into a cockpit.
