Some of the best events of the year are almost here! Bring on the summer concert season in Waukesha Pewaukee.

Our area’s warm and breezy summers are a perfect fit for the many outdoor live music opportunities for you to soak in all season long. Check out your options and mark your favorites on the calendar. These live shows will be here before you know it!

Tribute Tuesday



The place to be on the second Tuesday of each month, from June through September, is Tribute Tuesday at Cutler Park. Tribute bands rock the night away while honoring legendary musicians at the Les Paul Performance Center. Make a night of it – concessions start at 5:30 pm, concerts begin at 7:00 pm and run until 9:00 pm.

Riverside Rhythms



It very well could be the best lunch break ever. Riverside Rhythms is happening on Wednesdays from 11:30 am – 1 pm in downtown Waukesha on the Riverwalk. Starting June 15 through August 31, 2022 (but not on July 6), take a break, grab a lunch from the featured local food truck of the week (or bring your own), and enjoy lunch and live music in the sun.

Pewaukee Waterfront Wednesdays



What’s better than live music? How about live music with a view! Pewaukee Waterfront Wednesdays run from June 8 through July 27, 2022. From 6 pm – 8:30 pm, attendees take in bands at Lakefront Park, overlooking beautiful Pewaukee Lake. Bands cover all kinds of music genres, including rock, country, acoustic, and more.

Friday Night Live



Kick-off your weekend right. Friday Night Live (FNL) outdoor concerts occur every Friday night in summer in downtown Waukesha. The fun begins on June 3 and plays through September 2, 2022. (There is no FNL on July 1). Join other music enthusiasts at nine stages loving the weather, dining, shopping, and of course, the live music and dancing in the closed-down streets.

Waukesha County Fair



Welcome to the oldest county fair in Wisconsin, where Waukesha’s rural heritage is celebrated with live music, barnyard animals, crafts, foods, and a midway. The headlining bands at the Waukesha County Fair in 2022 include Randy Houser on July 21, Ted Nugent on July 22, and Seether on July 23.

Just a Short Drive to More!



Just a short drive from Waukesha Pewaukee are three must-see venues for incredible live music performances. This year’s line-ups are excellent and offer music options for everyone:

  • Known as “The World’s Largest Music Festival,” Summerfest takes place June 23-25, June 30-July 2, and July 7-9, 2022, in Milwaukee at the Henry Maier Festival Park on Lake Michigan.
  • The much anticipated Wisconsin State Fair will be held August 4 through14, 2022, in West Allis. This year, Wisconsin State Fair will celebrate 171 years and hopes to welcome over one million fairgoers throughout its 11-day run.
  • From the Dave Matthews Band to Jimmy Buffet, Alpine Valley hosts performers for all music interests. The 37,000-capacity amphitheater is in East Troy (just 30 minutes south of our area) and has a 7,500-seat pavilion, an expansive lawn, and food and drinks options for purchase.

With so many talented and exciting bands playing all summer long, Waukesha Pewaukee will be hopping with live music fun!
