Learn a little more about Raised Grain Brewing Co., a Waukesha brewery that offers brewery tours on Saturdays.
How did Raised Grain Begin?
Raised Grain Brewing Co. in Waukesha began when two local doctors with a passion for homebrewing met a former professional cyclist and local entrepreneur over beers. They were drinking a unique red IIPA that the doctors had brewed and were so impressed by the beer that they decided they needed to open a brewery to share it with the world.
A little over a year from that night, Raised Grain Brewing Co. opened its first brewery and taproom with a handful of beers. The red IIPA that inspired them to open the brewery became what is now known as Paradocs Red, the Gold medal winner at the 2016 Great American Beer Festival. The taproom and brewery expanded in 2018 and now has a much larger facility for bottling, groups, special events, food and tours. Raised Grain now has over 36 beers available at many locations in Madison and Milwaukee.
